This month we will be gathering our fabrics and cutting out our material as follows:

1 . yard background print (white, cream, tan, light gray, etc.)

Background prints can be solid, have a simple pattern or a two color pattern design. Your choice. 

If you want to get out of the box and do something with a darker background, please be sure to have your assorted colors either brighter

(more intense) or lighter or omit black and brown in your color selections so you’ll be able to see the contrast of your colored scraps)

5 – FQs assorted green prints

21 – FQs assorted prints in pink, orange, purple, red, blue, brown and black

OR

SCRAPS to total 5 . yards

This quilt is PERFECT to use up all your scraps so you don’t have to go out and buy more fabric!

Don’t be afraid to grab any range of colors! The more color the better!

⅝ yard binding

(A scrap binding could be awesome if you want to keep the scrappiness going!)
4 yards backing

  3. Arrin Brunson is going to help us make a fun lanyard in October, so the lovely basket had goodies in it to show us what we can bring. I can hardly wait to make mine!
